How to play
Mendozle is a daily NFL teammate chain. Everyone starts from the same player. Name someone who was on an NFL roster with the current player during the same season. The search box only lists those teammates. That player becomes the current player. Keep going until the current player is Fernando Mendoza.
Score
The score is the number of players in the path, including the starting player and Fernando Mendoza. Shorter paths are better. Par is the fewest players that can connect that day's start to Mendoza. A finished score can be copied and shared without listing the names.
The daily puzzle
A new puzzle begins at midnight in America/Los_Angeles. The starting player comes from a fixed schedule, so everyone plays the same chain that day. Wins, streaks, and the current path stay in this browser.
Rosters
Teammates are players who both appeared on the same NFL team's active, inactive, reserve, exempt, suspended, or physically-unable-to-perform roster in the same season, from 1999 through 2026. Practice-squad listings are not included. Roster files come from nflverse. Mendozle is not affiliated with the NFL, the NFL Players Association, nflverse, or Fernando Mendoza.
